Un prototype est fabriqué, mais le projet n'aboutit pas . En 1981, Tomforde propose un second prototype au comité de direction, mais il n'entre pas dans les critères de sécurité de la marque et son coût de production est prohibitif, si bien qu'il n'est pas retenu .
