No matter how close the adult is to the toddler, or how close the adult is to the object they'll just quit doing the action. I've tried to get the adult to try again but they just won't finish the action. The toddler themself can go to bed on their own fine but if I want an adult to do it I had to do a workaround where I manually picked up the toddler and then clicked the bed to put them to bed.
