WebJan 29, 2024 · Your best bet is to join a casual guild that does teaching runs for normal mode trials. The normal modes aren't that difficult, but there are some mechanics you need to learn. Aetherian Archive ("AA") and Hel Ra Citadel ("HRC") are the easiest. Sanctum Ophidia ("SO") is a bit harder, and Maw of Lorkhaj ("MoL") is the hardest. WebLet’s say trials are cleared just fine with 10k dps (plus some sort of buffer to encourage rezzing), a healer who does 10k hps, and a tank that holds the main boss 90% of the time and blocks heavy attacks. Every wipe, your team is checked for performance. You get a mark for every time you fail to clear your expectations.

That is, I've never done a trial. But I want to start getting into them now. Just looking for a few pointers from you guys. WebYou only need trial gear to do other vet trials, really. Overland, crafted, and dungeon sets can be more than enough to enjoy 90% of the game. Even some vet dungeons can be cleared with just average gear. WebNov 7, 2024 · Today has been a nightmare, nhof pug group who think ignoring basic mechanics is easier than doing the mechanics correctly, quitters constantly, half team gone by last boss had to wait for members to find players. took us 2 hours to do the dungeon, where if we had just done what was need we could have done it in an hour or less. WebIf you want to do Cloudrest, start with nCR with each boss separately, to learn the mechanics (yeah, Captain Obvious here) - it's really easy that way. However, I would recommend starting with Craglorn trials first, and not with "progressive" guild, but with more casual one, where nobody cares about "no death", "speedrun" and such stuff. WebMar 27, 2024 · 280CP is still probably too low for vet trials but not for normal ones. Do lots of normal trials. Do the easier Craglorn ones (AA, HRC and SO) and Cloudrest on normal as a start. Get used to the mechanics of them and the general pace of a trial. Ask players in successful trials about guilds.
